We at Fungoamiata have traditions in our blood: we still follow the regular cycle of the seasons, selecting the best ingredients and sticking to the oldest Tuscan recipes, which we have been following for over 50 years. Our vegetables preserved in oil have no preservatives or additives. Artichokes in oil, imported in Italy and to different parts of the world, are prepared by hand and immersed in our extra virgin olive oil. Discover this fantastic product, perfect for a lunch with friends or to enrich the dishes served in your restaurant.
These spring artichokes, once cleaned, are quickly blanched in water with white vinegar, white wine and some aromatic herbs.
Packaged manually under our extra virgin olive oil, they are ideal as a side dish to various dishes, as an appetizer and to enrich main courses and salads.

Our customers' favourite product is our artichoke, which we select with the greatest care and process with the utmost skill so that we can produce a delicacy that is loved not only in Italy but also in many other parts of the world.
The fresh artichokes are selected because they must be carefully sized. Then the actual processing begins: they are sorted, processed, cleaned, cooked and potted within a few hours. Thanks to a recipe dating back to the middle of the last century, the product acquires a unique and distinctive flavour.
Fungoamiata's artichoke preserved in oil is exported to different parts of the world. For example, you can find it in America, England, Germany and France, where it is highly appreciated for its genuineness and ancient flavour.
Today we serve different types of customers: wholesalers, large-scale distribution, restaurants but also private consumers. You can buy our artichokes directly at our factory or at Conad, Carrefour, Pam, Coop Amiatina and Tirreno outlets, as well as at many small food shops in the area.
You can also taste our other vegetables in oil, also processed and potted according to tradition.
